A variety of filling injections and implants have been developed and refined over the last few years. Fillers are often used in combination with other treatments for the ageing face such as laser and intense light rejuvenation, Botox and chemical peels.

JUVEDERM family of fillers: Injectable fillers made from hyaluronic acid.

  • Much less risk of allergy and longer lasting than the older collagen fillers.
  •  Excellent for lower face lines between the nose and lips and lip enhancement and augmentation, as well as the lifting of cheeks.

SCULPTRA: An injectable filler that stimulates the skin to produce more collagen. Used for cheek lines, hollow cheeks, lower face lines and scars.

VOLUMA:  Injectable filler implants that may last for prolonged periods. Excellent for lifting sagging cheeks, receding chin and sunken scars. Dr Lowe was one of the first doctors in the UK to use deep volume fillers and trains other physicians in using most of the fillers.
