London Fashion Week has created quite a buzz among my patients, and flicking through their glossy magazines they are bombarded with tips on how to achieve catwalk-confident skin. However, when reading skincare tips it is important to sure that the products recommended are suited to your skin type and are working to solve your, personal skin anxiety; whether it be controlling sebum production, soothing redness or anti-ageing. Today I will share my skincare advice, explaining which products to use, dependent on the problem.
My products are generally all under 100ml meaning that they are travel-friendly and perfect for those constantly on the go.
Oily skin - Spot Gel: This gel has anti-bacterial properties to help soothe the inflammation of blemishes. Dab directly onto spots (make sure your hands are clean beforehand) and can be used 3-4 times a day. The ingredients Willow Bark, Tea Tree and Thyme work together to further fight the causes of skin breakouts. The product is 15ml, meaning that the tube provides targeted, instant action and can be carried inside your bag easily.
Blotchy, red skin - Redness Relief Calming Cream: Pacify red, blotchy skin with this calming cream containing antioxidants, Chamomile and Allantoin. If you suffer with redness this product can help your complexion to feel a little cooler, ensuring that you feel a little more confident during this catwalk season. Again, the tube is travel-friendly at 50ml and should be applied to cleansed skin. For best results, use before applying Super Charged SPF 15 Day Cream.
Anti-ageing skin - The Secret is Out Lift & Repair Night Cream: For those of you concerned with anti-ageing, it is no secret that SPF should be worn daily to protect your skin from ageing sun rays. However, during the evening my Repair Night Cream may be applied to tighten and hydrate your skin, working away during the night, so that with regular use you will find your skin will look more youthful with the reduced appearance of wrinkles. After cleansing, apply every night with upward strokes to the face, neck and upper chest, and the super fruit ingredients will absorb into the skin whilst you get your beauty sleep.
I hope that with the above skincare tips you are able to feel confident for not only London Fashion Week, but for the rest of this busy month - whatever the skincare concern may be. If you have any further questions please do not hesitate to ask in the comment box below.
